Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Must have at least 2-3 years of experience if RRT, and 3-5 years of experience if CRT. If covering NICU, must know how to use NAVA (naturally adjusted ventilatory assist) on Servo vents.
Required Credentials: RRT is preferred, but CRT is accepted with at least 3-5 years of experience. Adult coverage requires BLS and ACLS; pediatric coverage requires BLS and PALS; NICU coverage requires BLS and NRP.

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: The facility may make one off exceptions if previously employed at the facility, but exceptions must be approved by St. Luke’s Health System References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Block scheduling will be attempted when possible but is not guaranteed.
Unit Details: Treatment volume is 36-42 per 12-hour shift, or 12-14 every 4 hours. Patient population includes adults on all floors, pediatric patients, and NICU patients. RTs assigned to pediatric floors also cover adults; RTs assigned to adult floors do not cover pediatric patients. RTs manage all RT equipment, treatments, transport, and ABGs. Travelers assist with intubation only; independent intubation is not required. Hospitalists and intensivists are in-house 24/7. Equipment includes Dräger vents for adults, Servo U vents for pediatrics, V60 BiPAPs, Vapotherm high flow, Optiflow for NICU and PICU, Philips Cough Assist, ResMed home CPAP, Hill-Rom Vest machines for percussion, and Hill-Rom Metaneb.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Holiday work is required if here during the holiday. No call.
Floating Requirements: May float to Meridian Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years
Driver’s license required for submission
