Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2030 per week.

Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• No current placement allowed at Program: FlexCare Partner Network Program - Adventist Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Neonatal experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 3 years’ technical experience preferred.

Preferred Credentials: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred. Master’s degree preferred.

Unit Details: Provides basic and critical respiratory care services for adult and geriatric patients. Duties include aerosol and oxygen therapy, arterial blood gases, ventilator care, pulmonary function tests, drainage procedures, cardio respiratory rehabilitation, assistance with bronchoscopies and specialty procedures, and specialty equipment setup and maintenance.

Floating Requirements: You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• Pediatric Advanced Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS)
