Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Unit Details: Respiratory care procedures are performed throughout the facility. Responds to Code Blue and Rapid Response alerts. Specially trained clinicians may perform pulmonary functions, methacholine challenges, hyperbaric medicine, NICU care, PICU care, and asthma education. The average assignment includes responsibility for 8 vented patients in a unit. The assignment includes an average of 2-3 intrahospital transports per shift to CT, MRI, and Specials. Equipment includes Servo-i ventilators, V60 BiPAP, and i-STAT for ABG analysis.

Shift & Scheduling: The assignment has no call. Weekend scheduling is every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: Work assignments in the respiratory unit are paired with step-down and/or floor assignments. Floor assignments consist of 3-4 floors.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required

Certifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
