Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Respiratory Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
• High School completion required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in floor care therapy and intensive care therapy. Required skills include NICU and PICU experience with familiarity with Servoi, SiPAP, and Sensormedics 3100A (HFOV) ventilator machines and blood gas analysis, or adult intensive care unit (AICU) experience with familiarity with Servoi, ventilator extubation protocols, and ABGs.
Required Credentials: ACLS is required if working in the AICU; NRP is required if working in the NICU; PALS is required if working in the PICU.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience in a level 4 NICU with L&D and in a PICU with transplant patients is preferred.
Unit Details: Basic floor-care respiratory therapy includes nebulizers and MDIs, bronchial hygiene (CPT), volume expansion (PEP), and CPAP/BiPAP for patients from infancy to geriatric age. Equipment includes Servoi, SiPAP, Sensormedics 3100A (HFOV) ventilator machines, and supply and medication Pyxis machines.
Floating Requirements: Typically, NICU staff are also assigned to adult floors or adult ICUs. NICU work is not guaranteed every shift and may be reassigned when permanent staff are prioritized for the NICU.

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
