Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2170 per week.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience:
Experience in a large (300 bed or more) critical care facility.

Special Requests:
At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Must not have worked at any OSF facility in the past year.
Local Rate = Reg Rate - $25 (10/6/26)

Unit Details:
Cares for general medical, intermediate, and ICU patients.
Workload uses the AARC point system, with around 26-28 points assigned per day.
Respiratory therapy equipment includes Servo U, Servo i, and LTV ventilators; Trilogy BiPAP; ResMed S9 CPAP; and Fisher Paykel heated high-flow equipment.
Hospitalists and intensivists are available in-house 24/7.

Shift & Scheduling:
Shift times are 0630-1900 and 1830-0700.
Every other weekend, with coverage on Saturday and Sunday for both day and night shifts.
Every other holiday.
No call.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Driver's license required for submission

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT
