Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <80 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health.

Required Skills/Experience: ICU experience required. Experience working in a facility with 300+ beds.
Preferred Skills/Experience: ER experience preferred.
Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Must take full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. If previously employed by Sanford Health, the end date must be at least 6 months before the submission date.
Unit Details: Scope of work includes assessment, therapeutic intervention, and education for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders or associated complications. Performs respiratory therapy assessments/protocols, arterial punctures and blood gas analysis, ventilator and NIV therapy management, medication delivery, airway clearance, assists with intubations, bedside trach placement, bedside bronchoscopy, tracheostomy changes and decannulation, extubations, emergency response teams, ICU rounds, and patient intrahospital transport. Uses Omnicell medication cabinet, Hamilton G5 & C1, V60, Airvo, Philips CoughAssist, Synclara Cough Device, Volara, Vest, ResMed AutoPAPs, Radiometer ABL90 Flex, Aerogen, Nitric Oxide, 3100B HFOV, B Braun Syringe Pump, patient home vents (Trilogy, Astral, Vivo), and Zebra mobile phones. Will not work alone; each shift has charge coverage.
Shift & Scheduling: Rotating day/night shifts, every other weekend, and holidays. Weekend-only or straight-night status may be considered. Opportunity to pick up extra shifts.
Floating Requirements: May float to other Fargo campuses as needed: Broadway or South University.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT
