Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2210 per week.

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience: 1 - 2+ years of experience required.

Required Credentials: Associate degree or certificate.

Special Requests: Any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks of the absence.

Unit Details: The RT would be the only RT on for a maximum of 13 inpatients. Coverage includes inpatients, the emergency department, and obstetrics. The unit does not keep ventilated patients; ventilator support may be initiated here, but patients are transferred out. BiPAP or high-flow treatments are somewhat common, as are nebulizer treatments.

Shift & Scheduling: Every weekend (Friday/Saturday/Sunday). Holiday rotation is possible, depending on where holidays fall on the schedule. No call. Flexible contract hours: Set hours per week, except when the unit is closed for holidays.

Floating Requirements: Floats to all ThedaCare facilities.

9 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months
