Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

Special Requests: Must report to Hilo Employee Health 48-72 hours before the assignment starts. For the Monday start, arrive in Hawaii by Thursday to attend the Friday morning appointment. Do not accept the offered start date unless you can arrive on time.

Unit Details: Responsibilities include continuous airway management, ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management and support, physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care. Patient populations include adults, pediatric patients, and neonatal patients. Equipment includes Pyxis medication management, PB 980 and PB 840 ventilators, V60, and Para Pac transport ventilator.

Shift & Scheduling: Holiday coverage is required.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
