Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 22 months of Respiratory Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Seattle Children’s Hospital and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Seattle Children’s Hospital.
• 3 months gap required between for Travel at Program: Aya Program - Seattle Children’s Hospital and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of either level 3 or 4 NICU experience. Will also consider PICU depending on the length of experience and the number of beds at previous hospitals. Airway management, medication administration, vent management, O2 therapy, suction, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer, BiPAP, and CPAP.
Preferred Skills/Experience: ER experience preferred. Teaching hospital experience is preferred. Community hospital experience is preferred. Children’s hospital experience preferred. High-frequency jet ventilator, high-frequency oscillator, EKGs, code response, and rapid response experience preferred.
Special Requests: Only 3 shifts of RTO can be approved. If they are willing to work their 3 shifts in a week, some days may be dropped so the remaining week can be off. No RTO within the first 2 weeks of start. Must work 2 of the 3 holiday groupings (4 of 6 days): Thanksgiving Eve/day after, Christmas Eve/Christmas, or New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day. Schedule runs Monday-Sunday; RTO must be included on the initial submission or it will not be approved.
Unit Details: Neonate, infant, pediatric, and adolescent patient population. Uses Bubble RAM/CPAP and HFNC.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend coverage required. No on-call required; shifts may be available for pick-up.
Floating Requirements: This is not an ICU-only role. You will be floated to acute/all inpatient areas as needed in addition to working in all ICUs.
3 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
