Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience:
NICU experience required.

Required Credentials:
An associate degree or certificate is required.

Unit Details:
The role provides emergency services for Rapid Response and Code Blue.
Clinical responsibilities include basic respiratory care, critical care, ventilator management, patient assessment with Assess and Treat protocols, and care for all age groups.

Shift & Scheduling:
Shifts vary among days, mids, and nights.
Weekend rotation is every third weekend, and holiday rotation is every other holiday.
The traveler may be placed on call, with a 2-hour minimum call-back.
Flexible contract hours: Set hours are not guaranteed during orientation week or when the unit is closed for holidays.

Floating Requirements:
Respiratory Therapy supports all patient care areas of the hospital, including the ED and general care areas. Must be willing to float to Plover, Divine Savior, and Riverview.

9 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
