Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2280 per week.

Shift: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• No current placement allowed at Program: FlexCare Partner Network Program - Adventist Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Must be competent performing PFTs including Spirometry, DLCO, Plethysmography, MIPS/MEPS, and Methacholine challenge.

Required Credentials: - Graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program.

Unit Details: - Provides basic and critical respiratory care for adult and geriatric patients, including ventilator care, arterial blood gases, pulmonary rehabilitation, drainage procedures, and assistance with bronchoscopies and specialty equipment. - Uses a Vyntus body box and Sentry Suite software.

Shift & Scheduling: - Mon-Thu or Tue-Fri. - No on-call.

Floating Requirements: - You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• CPFT (Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
