Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Universal Health Services (Direct) Program - Main.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - NICU experience required.

Required Credentials: - ABG license required.

Unit Details: - Stabilizes neonates and may ventilate them until flight transport arrives. - Administers respiratory care by physician prescription, including diagnostic evaluation (obtaining and analyzing physiological specimens, interpreting physiologic data, performing tests and studies of the cardiopulmonary system), management, education, rehabilitation, and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system. - Practice includes application of technology and treatment protocols across all care sites, including application and monitoring of medical gases and environmental control systems, mechanical ventilatory support, artificial airway care, bronchopulmonary hygiene, pharmacological agents related to respiratory care procedures, cardiopulmonary rehab, and hemodynamic cardiovascular support.

Shift & Scheduling: - Varied schedule with every other weekend required.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required

Certifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
