Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Experience:

• 3 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Respiratory Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Required Skills/Experience: 2-5 years’ experience in critical care required. Experience with respiratory therapy-driven protocols required.

Special Requests: Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Unit Details: The respiratory therapy unit covers the ICU and all other medical-surgical/telemetry areas. GE telemetry equipment is used. Ventilators include Hamilton G5, C1, MR1, and Galileo models. A hospitalist is in-house 24/7. No IV team is available. Respiratory therapy and pharmacy coverage are available 24/7. Common diagnoses include COPD, asthma, pneumonia, and CHF. Common duties include breathing treatments, ABGs, EKGs, NIV, HFNC therapy, IPV, and PEP/PAP therapy. The facility is strictly protocol-driven.

Shift & Scheduling: The clinician works every other weekend. Most holidays are expected to be worked. Some flexibility is available for weekly schedules. Schedules are made approximately 3-4 weeks in advance.

Floating Requirements: The clinician is first to float to all areas except NICU.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
