Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Symmetry Workforce Solutions - Jefferson Health Program.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department experience required. Medication Delivery & Administration: Aerosol set up mask/trach; Albuterol; Atrovent; Inhaled steroids; Mucomyst; Nitric Oxide (INo); Perforomist; Pulmicort; Racemic epinephrine; Spiriva. Respiratory: Oxygen tanks/therapy; Bag and mask; ET tube; HFNC; Trach collar; BiPAP; CPAP; Troubleshooting high pressure alarms; Weaning from mechanical ventilation. Chest physiotherapy-Vest; Drawing/interpret ABGs; Nebulizer: Cold, hand held, T-piece, trach collar, Ultrasonic; Extubation; Intubation assist; Nasal airway placement/suctioning; Oral airway placement/suctioning; Sputum specimen collection; Tracheostomy care/management.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Equipment used: Hamilton G5; Puritan Bennett 980 (PB980); Philips Respironics V60; Optiflow; Lumis Tx; CoughAssist; The Vest Airway Clearance System (Vest); IPV.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No on-call.

Floating Requirements: Will work Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
