Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2300 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Epic experience is required.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum of 1 year of worked or educational clinical experience in both general and critical care.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 2+ years of experience in a hospital setting providing respiratory care.

Required Credentials: Associate Degree from a CoARC accredited Respiratory Care program. NRP is required for CHD only at Froedtert West Bend Hospital or Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital.

Preferred Credentials: Bachelor’s degree for Respiratory Care. American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) and Wisconsin Society for Respiratory Care (WSRC) membership.

Special Requests: Local Rate = 10% less than travel rate

Unit Details: Respiratory care and pulmonary diagnostic procedures are performed in the treatment, management, control, diagnostic evaluation, and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities associated with the cardiopulmonary system. Therapeutic treatment and diagnostic testing are performed upon physician order with use of medical gases and equipment, environmental control systems, humidification, and aerosols. Medications are administered to the cardiopulmonary system. Ventilatory support includes maintenance and management of life support systems. Bronchopulmonary clearance and breathing exercises are performed. Patient education and cardiopulmonary resuscitation are provided. Natural and artificial airways are maintained. These procedures are performed in critical care and non-critical care areas on patients of all ages.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend shifts are required. No call.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager reference required
