Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with Cerner is required.
Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <80 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have experience with vents, BiPAP, basic RT treatments, EKGs, and intubation assistance.
Special Requests: Must take a full 6 months off from any Sanford Health or Good Samaritan Society location. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Unit Details: Typically handles 20-25 treatments per day. Cares mainly for adults, with minimal pediatric and neonatal patients in the ER or newborn setting. Travelers may be asked to cover high-risk deliveries, but this is very infrequent. Covers inpatient, ER, ICU, medical-surgical floors, and facility emergencies in the clinic. Performs basic therapies, ABGs, EKGs, BiPAP/CPAP treatments, and ventilator management, including intubation weaning and extubation. Charge verification is part of the duties. Assists with intubation and inserts King airways in emergency situations before the provider arrives. Independent staffing may be required in the event of a call-in or staffing shortage, although it is avoided whenever possible. Equipment includes Vents-PB980, PB840, SurvoU, LTV1200, and Hamilton; BiPAP/CPAP V60 and Home ResMed systems; and Optiflow high-flow equipment. A hospitalist is in-house 24/7; an intensivist is in-house for most of the day; an eICU supports overnight needs.
Shift & Scheduling: Rotating about every 3rd weekend, depending on call-ins and staffing. Coverage for 2/3 winter holidays; every other holiday coverage otherwise. No call.
