Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• 2 years of Respiratory Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <80 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 2 years recent respiratory therapist experience. 2 years minimum experience specialized in NICU, PICU and minimum adult GF experience. Our first choice would be NICU and PICU experienced therapist but would consider NICU or PICU with adult experience. Must have Level 4 NICU experience including high-frequency ventilation (Jet & HFOV), nitric oxide, high-risk deliveries, and gestational ages 22 weeks and above.

Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must take full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location as well. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Clinicians who previously worked for Sanford Health must have an end date 6 months prior to their submission date.
Unit Details: Patient populations include NICU, PICU/pediatric, and adult patients. Procedures include respiratory therapy assessments/protocols, arterial punctures and blood gas analysis, ventilator and NIV therapy management, medication delivery, airway clearance, assistance with intubations, tracheostomy changes and decannulation, extubations, emergency response teams, ICU rounds, intrahospital patient transport, and high-risk deliveries. Equipment utilized includes Omnicell medication cabinet, Hamilton G5 & C1, V60, Airvo, blender high-flow setups, Philips CoughAssist, Synclara Cough Device, Volara, Vest, IPV, ResMed AutoPAPs, Radiometer ABL90 Flex, EPOC POC device, Aerogen, Nitric Oxide, 3100 A & B HFOV, Braun Syringe Pump, home vents (Trilogy, Astral and Vivo), Bunnell HFJV, Infant Flow SiPAP, Bubble CPAP, Sentec TCM, NeoPuff, and Zebra mobile phones.
Shift & Scheduling: Day/night rotation. Every other weekend and rotating holidays. Shift may be 8 or 12 hours. Weekend or straight night status may be considered. Opportunity to pick up extra shifts.
Floating Requirements: If interested, candidate can train to BDWY or SU campus if there are needs.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
