Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2320 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Cross Country Program - University of Connecticut (UCONN).

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 1-2 years of experience.

Special Requests: All time off is required at time of submission.

Unit Details: Adult respiratory, cardiac, and orthopedic patient population.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend rotation. Call and holiday requirements. Included in the rotation pool for mandatory overtime on an as-needed basis to ensure unit coverage.

Floating Requirements: Floating required to ICU, ED, and floors. Must be able to work in ER, ICU, Med-Surg, Tele, DOC, Psych, and NICU if applicable. May float or be reassigned to a different department, unit, or facility within 30 miles of the originally assigned facility, within clinical competence.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required

Certifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
