Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2330 per week.

Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health and no current placement allowed at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - NICU experience required. - Bubble CPAP experience required.

Preferred Credentials: - Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Special Requests: - Assignment length may vary: 18 weeks for 9/14 orientation; 16 weeks for 9/28 orientation.

Unit Details: - Cares for adult and NICU patients, with limited pediatric stabilization in the ER. - Draws own ABGs, attends deliveries, and uses Bubble CPAP; if intubating in NICU, will place patients on a 980 ventilator and send out. - May serve as shift charge therapist and as a preceptor to new team members or students.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend and major holidays required.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• CPFT (Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist)

• RPFT (Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist)

• RRT-ACCS (Adult Critical Care Specialty)
