Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2370 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

• Experience with Allscripts/Eclipsys is preferred.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Required Credentials:
Current and valid registration as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care or AARC is required.

Unit Details:
Patient population includes all ages and patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders.
Work includes interviewing and examining patients, consulting with physicians to develop treatment plans, and performing diagnostic tests such as measuring lung capacity.
Respiratory treatments include chest physiotherapy, aerosol medications, and oxygen administration.
Work includes managing mechanical ventilators, administering drugs to the lungs, monitoring cardiopulmonary systems, measuring lung function, and teaching patients how to take medications and use equipment.
Assists in training and precepting new-hire employees.

Shift & Scheduling:
Evenings 3p-1130p and/or night shift 11p-730a; shifts may be a combination of both. Weekend and holiday coverage required.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
