Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Additional Details:

Special Requests: First-time travelers considered upon review. Up to 7 days off may be approved.

Unit Details: Mostly geriatric and adult patients, with some pediatric patients in the ED. Typical caseload varies by acuity: 10-15 patients on general floor assignments and 6-8 patients on ICU assignments. Responsibilities include vent management, CPAP, BiPAP, nebulizer treatments, arterial line placement, assisting with intubation, vent weaning, extubation, and ABGs. Uses Pyxis and equipment including AVEA vents, Servo U vents, LPU 1200 vents, Parapack vents for MRI, and Hamilton vents for transport.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call. Holidays assigned as needed. Cannot work more than 60 hours in a week or more than 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts. Overtime may be available, depending on needs.

Floating Requirements: Float to all units at the hospital.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
