Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Respiratory Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: Must have 2 or more years of experience working in PICU and/or level 4 or greater NICU.
Unit Details: 20-25 treatments per day for pediatric and neonatal patients in NICU or PICU. All aspects of respiratory care, including aerogen, Volara, cough assist, IPV, NAVA, airway management, intrahospital transport, and use of Hamilton and Servo ventilators, Respironics and Hamilton BiPAP, and Fisher Paykel HFNC. Assist only with intubation. Hospitalist/intensivist in house.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekends and holidays as scheduled. Preference scheduling permitted with a commitment of 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; weekends are Fri, Sat, and Sun shifts. No call.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
