Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2450 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 6 months of travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Cerner is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
Must be able to work independently with vents, various PAP modalities, high-flow O2, and perform PFTs.
Must be able to work independently with minimal/no supervision while working weekend shifts alone.
Must be willing to learn new skills such as home sleep testing and pulmonary rehabilitation.

Required Credentials:
Certifications are required to be included at time of submission.
CRT candidates will not be considered for this assignment.

Travelers must have their own vehicle for this assignment.
Any requested time off must be noted and verified at upload; RTO requests made after upload or during the interview will not be approved.

Unit Details:
Patient population ranges from pediatric to geriatric.
The assignment includes independent management of invasive and non-invasive ventilation, ABG draws, airway management including assisting with intubations, and pulmonary function testing.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend; holidays are required if needed.
No call.
No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted.
Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work one holiday block if scheduled/needed: Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the weekend after, or New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the weekend after.

5 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
