Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Qualivis Program - University of Virginia and no current placement allowed at Program: Qualivis Program - University of Virginia.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Level IV NICU experience required. Competency with both the Bunnell Jet Ventilator and HFOV 3100A is required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Cardiac PICU experience preferred. Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Required Credentials: Any hit on your license must be disclosed. Hits will be sent to UVA leadership for approval prior to proceeding.
Special Requests: Assignment length may vary: 13 or 26 weeks. Travelers are not eligible to return after reaching 365 total assignment days, regardless of time away.
Unit Details: Neonatal, infant, pediatric, and adolescent patient population. Works within the children’s hospital, including NICU, PICU, high-risk deliveries, and acute care pediatrics. Pediatric emergency department, Level IV NICU, PICU, and a complex congenital heart program with transplant and ECMO patients.
Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Every other weekend. Every other holiday. Must work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays. Self-scheduling model; desired schedule is not guaranteed, but accommodations will be made when possible.
Floating Requirements: Will be required to work in all units of the Children’s Hospital.
3 days maximum time off
