Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System.

Required Skills/Experience: Adult, Peds, and NICU experience required; must have NICU experience.
Required Credentials: STABLE and NRP only required for NICU or travelers handling babies.
Special Requests: Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: The facility may make one off exceptions if previously employed at the facility, but exceptions must be approved by St. Luke’s Health System. Can do block scheduling.
Unit Details: Depending on the season, no more than 30 treatments per shift; assignments are by floor rather than points, so workload can be heavier at times. Patient population ranges from NICU to geriatrics, including ICU, stepdown, MedSurg, and a small Peds unit; no PICU; level III NICU with vent once in a while. Covers inpatient and ER. ABGs draw and analyze, breathing treatments, BiPAP, CPAP, vents, and bedside bronchoscopy assist; does not do EKGs. Assists with intubation and may place an LMA. A team lead or charge is on every shift; traveler may serve as charge depending on experience and willingness. Traveler will not be the only RT in-house. Uses Drager vents, Cervo-NICU, Hamilton transport vent, Vapotherm, Philips V60 and V30, and Epic.
Shift & Scheduling: Self-scheduling. Every other weekend. Will work holidays if there is a need.
Floating Requirements: First to float; floating to ICU, floors, NICU, and ER.
14 days maximum time off
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• STABLE (Sugar, Temperature, Airway. Blood Pressure, Lab work and Emotional Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
