Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

Required Skills/Experience: Bubble CPAP, ABG, and vent/BiPAP/CPAP management.
Special Requests: Eligibility as current/previous employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. Submission limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Unit Details: All ages patient population, including newborn care in the family birth center. Covers the entire hospital; main department needs include FBC, ER, MS, and CCU, with limited work in SDS except COVID swab taking. Performs ventilator, BiPAP, CPAP, bubble CPAP on newborns, breathing treatments, EKGs, and ABGs. Assists only with intubation. Critical access hospital; majority of the time you work alone. Uses Draeger vents, V60 for BiPAP, ResMed for CPAP, and Vapotherm for high flow. Large amount of walking; some staff report 6-8 miles in a shift. Responsible for daily shift checks and billing of all procedures done on shift.
Shift & Scheduling: Variable weekend coverage to cover shift holes, FMLA, and PTO. Holidays as required. No call.
Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
