Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
• High School completion required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• 6 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Required Skills/Experience: - Assignment covers Med/Surg floors and PCU with adult and geriatric patients, including COPD, asthma, and cancer. - GE ventilators used on unit. - Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department, Aerosol set up mask, Aerosol set up trach, Medihaler, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI), Albuterol, Atrovent, Bicarbonate, Combivent, Flovent, Inhaled Flolan, Inhaled steroids, Isuprel, Ketamine, Lidocaine, Mucomyst, Nitric Oxide (INo), Perforomist, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, Terbutaline Sulfate, Theophylline, Tobramycin, Xopenex, BiPAP, CPAP, Extubation, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oral/nasal Suctioning, Pulmonary Hygiene, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy care/management, Hand held, T-piece, Trach collar, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Trach collar, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)*.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Hamilton ventilator experience preferred.
Required Credentials: - Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. - High School diploma and college diploma and/or transcripts required.

Special Requests: - References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. - You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. - Cannot apply to any Ohio State University facilities if you have an active application to any of the James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities. - RTO required with submission and must be built into the contract. - Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more. - Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location.
Shift & Scheduling: - Weekends required.
Floating Requirements: - May be required to float between campuses, including East Hospital, at the facility’s discretion.
