Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System.

Additional Details:

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: - Must have adult, NICU, and peds experience. - Must have at least 2-3 years experience if RRT, 3-5 years experience if CRT; okay with first-time travelers. - If going to NICU, need to know how to do NAVA on Servo vents.

Special Requests: - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Current/previous employee exceptions may be considered, but exceptions must be approved by St. Luke’s Health System. - Travelers will be filled in where there is a need; they do try to accommodate block scheduling as best they can, but it is not guaranteed.

Unit Details: - Uses Epic. - Inpatient respiratory therapy covering adults on all floors, peds, and NICU. - RTs for pediatric floors will also cover adults; RTs for adult floors will not cover peds. - 36-42 treatments per 12 hour shift or 12-14 every 4 hours. - Will manage all RT equipment, treatments, transport, and ABGs; will not do EKGs. - Travelers will only assist with intubations. - Hospitalist and intensivist in house 24/7. - Vents: Draeger for adults and Servo U for peds; V60 BiPAPs, Vapotherm high flow, Optiflow for NICU and PICU, Philips Cough Assist, ResMed home CPAP, HillRom Vest machines for percussion, Hill-Rom Metaneb.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - Holidays as required if here during the holiday. - No call. - Overtime may be available.

Floating Requirements: - May float to COSM, Meridian Medical Center, and Nampa Medical Center.

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT
