Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Cerner is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <80 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Marshfield Clinic Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Marshfield Clinic Health System.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Vents, BiPAP, basic RT treatments, EKGs, intubation assist.

Special Requests: - At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job. - Must take a full 6 months off from any Sanford Health or Good Samaritan Society location. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. - Must disclose any previous Marshfield employment. Previous Marshfield workers must have an end date at least 6 months before submission. - Each employment history entry must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level if applicable, patient ratio, and whether the facility was a teaching facility. - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Travel pairs accepted with timing considerations.

Unit Details: - 20-25 treatments per RT per day. - Mainly adult patients with minimal pediatrics and neonates in the ER or newborn population; may cover high-risk deliveries at very low frequency. - Covers inpatient, ER, ICU, Med-Surg floors, and facility emergencies in the clinic. - Basic therapies, ABGs, EKGs, BiPAP/CPAP, ventilator management including intubation weaning and extubation, charge verification. - RTs assist with intubation and may insert King airways in emergency situations before provider arrival. - Equipment includes PB980, PB840, Servo-U, LTV1200, and Hamilton ventilators; V60 and home ResMed BiPAP/CPAP; Optiflow high flow. - Hospitalist in house 24/7; intensivist in house for the majority of the day; eICU support overnight. - May need to staff independently during call-ins or staffing shortages, though this is avoided when possible.

Shift & Scheduling: - Rare variable shifts between 0600-1800 and 1800-0600; traveler will be consulted prior to any switch. - Rotating about every 3rd weekend, depending on call-ins and staffing. - 2/3 winter holidays and every other holiday otherwise.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
