Shift: 5:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Experience with MEDHOST is preferred.

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: In addition to meeting the unit experience requirements, your work experience needs to reflect at least 12 months (1 year) of uninterrupted experience working in the same unit/specialty you’re applying to.
Unit Details: Administers respiratory therapies, such as oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and ventilator management, ensuring proper patient response and safety. Conducts patient assessments, correlating care with patient needs, and monitors responses to respiratory treatments, including pharmacological interventions. Performs and documents arterial blood gas (ABG) punctures accurately, reporting results promptly. Follows respiratory protocols, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and regulatory standards during all procedures. Manages ventilator settings and airway maintenance, ensuring optimal patient comfort and safety during respiratory support. Provides cardiopulmonary services to both inpatients and outpatients. Responsibilities include assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, delivery of medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas, maintaining airways, ventilator management, insertion of arterial lines, intubations, pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gases. Tools/equipment used in daily work include MEDHOST.
Shift & Scheduling: Shift: Days, 5:30 AM-6:00 PM, rotating schedule. No call required. 48-hour guarantees are not approved.
