Shift: 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
• High School completion required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Nebraska Medicine.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience on floors or 1 year or more of ICU experience. Trach experience required.

Unit Details: General floor therapy includes nebulizer therapy, EzPAP, IPV, CPAP, BiPAP, Acapella, CPT, ABGs, and assorted oxygen delivery devices. Work may include AICU respiratory care with Servo-i ventilators and ventilator extubation protocols. Uses Omnicell, Pyxis, Vision and V60 BiPAP machines, Focus and Synchrony CPAP/BiPAP machines, and high flow systems. Large department with resources/assistance available as needed.
Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri; no weekend shifts required. Orientation includes first-week 8 hour days 0800-1600 and three 12-hour shifts before transitioning to 8 hour evening shifts after 2-3 weeks.
Floating Requirements: Will be assigned to different floors based on need.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
