Experience:

• 36 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of travel experience is required within the last 15 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• No current placement allowed at Program: TrioWFS Program - UnityPoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 24 months of of RRT/Respiratory experience in Hospital setting. Work history/resume/employment history must have 36 months of current RRT / Respiratory Therapy experience. Jet ventilator, Drager Vent, and Oscillator Vent experience required. NICU experience within the last 18 months. Level III or Level IV NICU experience within the last 15 months.

Unit / Facility Details: References may be charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference

Special Requests: Past employees of UPH who are or were FTE or PRN for the UPH float pool cannot work travel in another market if they currently work there or worked there within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH, not FTE or PRN, the separation policy does not apply. Unless the unit is closed, required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. Unit Details: Patient types: all ages; primarily adults with NICU.

Shift & Scheduling: Friday, Saturday, Sunday; 0700 or 1900 start time based on staffing/census. No call. Weekend Requirements: As scheduled

7 days maximum time off

2 references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
