Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• COVID booster required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Yale and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Yale.

Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: - Draeger vent experience required. - 2 years of critical care experience required. - Teaching hospital experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - NICU experience preferred. - Trauma Level I Experience
Special Requests: - Any additional RTO requested after offer acceptance will not be approved.
Unit Details: - Neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population.
Shift & Scheduling: - Will work every other weekend and holidays as needed.
Floating Requirements: - Will float between Bridgeport Hospital and Milford Campuses as needed. - Travelers should expect to rotate through all areas of the hospital, including the NICU and pediatric units. Floating frequency depends on census and staffing needs.
7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 05/25/2026, 07/04/2026, 09/07/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027, 01/18/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

Certifications:
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• CPFT (Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
