Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Respiratory Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Nationwide Childrens and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Nationwide Childrens.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - Must have 2 years overall experience, and 1 of those years full-time experience in a large hospital PICU. - Must have experience with Hamilton ventilators.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Level 1 pediatric trauma center experience strongly preferred. - Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details: - Must be willing to care for both high and low acuity PICU patients. - Neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patient population. - Cares for respiratory, trauma, pulmonary, complex, and other clinical disease processes in the Pediatric ICU, including long-term trach/vent patients.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - Could be asked to work additional weekends; will be scheduled based on unit needs.

Floating Requirements: - Float to CTICU, NICU, H8A (pulmonary), and Core (general/ED).

14 days maximum time off

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
