Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required within the last 12 months.

• BS completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• No current placement allowed at Program: FlexCare Partner Network Program - Adventist Health.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Three years’ technical experience preferred.

Preferred Credentials: Master’s degree preferred.

Unit Details: Provides basic and critical respiratory care for adult and geriatric patients with respiratory disease, including aerosol and oxygen therapy, arterial blood gases, ventilator care, pulmonary function tests, drainage procedures, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and assistance with bronchoscopies and specialty respiratory equipment.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36-48 hours per week.

Floating Requirements: You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support) or the alternative certification CPR

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• Pediatric Advanced Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS)
