Job Summary and Qualifications

The Blood Cancer Nurse Navigator functions as an expert clinician responsible for the coordination and facilitation of care for patients with complex hematologic malignancies, throughout the continuum of care and across inpatient and outpatient settings.

What qualifications you will need:

• RN with at least 5 years clinical experience in an acute care environment
• · Current licensure as an RN by Texas Board of Nursing 
• · BSN required
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills 
• · Expertise in acute care settings in order to assess and identify medical necessity 
• · Federal and state requirements
