As a Respiratory Therapist, you’ll play an essential role in guiding patients through both routine care and critical moments. You’ll perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures while managing invasive and noninvasive ventilation across a variety of care settings. You’ll have access to advanced respiratory technology, mentorship from experienced RT leaders, and the support of a dependable, collaborative team that will set you up for success and ongoing professional growth. Your role will include:
Minimum Education and Training:
· Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Care preferred.
Minimum Work Experience:
· Minimum of one year hospital based experience preferred.
Skills:
· Must be deemed clinically competent by the medical director of this institution to perform duties outlined in the description/performance evaluation
· Have excellent communication skills.
· Capable of working in a stressful environment; see physical requirement.
License/Registration/Certification:
· Certified or registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care
· Hold a current BCLS certificate through AHA or ARC
· ACLS, NRP, and PALS required through AHA or ARC within 6 months from hire date.
· Current license to practice respiratory care by the Texas Medical Board.
