Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years, 6 months of Telemetry Float Pool experience.
• Travel experience is required within the last 12 months.
• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.
• BSN completion required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

RNs only: If CA state licensure is 3 months or less from expiration, proof that the renewal process has been initiated is required to apply.

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum of 2.5 years of recent adult telemetry and TCU/Stepdown/PCU RN experience is required. Float experience is not sufficient; the TCU/Stepdown/PCU experience must be consistent/tagged as the home unit. Recent float pool, stepdown, and telemetry experience is required. Must have some PCU experience in WH. Variety of experience in all nursing areas is required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience caring for acute care patients recovered from procedures (e.g., biopsies) is preferred. Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population.
Shift & Scheduling: Schedule is based on operational need, with shift windows 07-1930 or 19-0730. Shift length may be 10/12 hours.
Floating Requirements: Floating is through the adult float pool. Must be able to float to other UCSF facilities/units. Travel RNs can be assigned to all UCSF sites: Parnassus, Mission Bay, or Mount Zion. Travel RNs can be assigned to the ED for boarded patients and/or assist with tasks, and to the PACU for boarded patients.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
