Experience:
• 60 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 60 months of Telemetry Float Pool experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• Experience with Cerner is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - WVU Medicine and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - WVU Medicine.

Additional Details:
Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.
If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Required skills/experience: Must be comfortable taking ratios from 1:2-10. RNs required to titrate drips if working in ED, CCU - Traveler would be expected to manager all critical drips. Nurses expected to be able to read and interpret tele. Will be expected to print strips, perform measurements, and identity rhythms.
Preferred skills/experience: Prefer someone with 1 year of ICU experience or 1 year of ED experience. Ideally an ICU/Stepdown traveler that is comfortable floating to lower acuity units.
Shift & schedule requirements: Weekends as scheduled. Travelers will be asked to submit their ideal schedule to manager, however, nothing is finalized until the schedule has been balanced. Travelers are expected to be flexible and help fill gaps in permanent staffing. Schedule made out for 4 weeks at a time. May be asked to go in the Holiday Rotation, Split between Group A and Group B. Schedule made out for 4 weeks at a time.

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
