Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Telemetry Float Pool experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.
Requirements:

Required Skills/Experience: Must have unit/specialty experience in the past 6 months. Must be able to titrate cardiac drips. Must be able to interpret EKGs.
Required Credentials: You are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding. A maximum of 2 attempts is allowed for the Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam. Pass/fail simulation lab on day one of orientation.
Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you are applying to. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Unit Details: Float pool covers Tele and MedSurg units including CV Tele B3A, A3 Neuro, MedSurg C5, and MedSurg B2C. Patient ratios vary by unit: 1:3-4 on Tele units and 1:4 on MedSurg/Tele units. Patient populations and cases include post cath lab, post vascular procedures, day 2 CABG, general telemetry, neuro post-surgical, post craniotomy, spine, CVA post TPA, surgical/oncology, orthopedic knee and hip, urological, abdominal, Whipple, and women’s surgeries (no OBGYN). Cardiac drips and telemetry needs may include Amio, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, Dobutamine, and Cardizem titration down only. Uses GE monitors and Spectralink phones. CV Tele cares for patients age 15 and older only. No ICP monitoring on the Neuro unit.
Shift & Scheduling: 4 weekend shifts per schedule (Saturday/Sunday). Must work 2 of 3 major holidays.
Floating Requirements: First to float. Will float between all Tele and MedSurg units; depending on skill level, may also float to ICU, Cardiac Tele, and holding areas including Cath Lab, ER, observation, and hallway holding areas. Floating includes Chandler Regional Medical Center and Mercy Gilbert campuses. Observation is staffed first, then other units. Notification of campus and unit is given 1.5 hours prior to shift start. Floating mid-shift can happen; floating to another campus within a single shift is rare but possible. Must clock out when leaving one campus and clock in upon arrival at the other campus.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
