Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Telemetry Float Pool experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: - Must have unit/specialty experience in the past 6 months. - Must be able to interpret EKGs and titrate cardiac drips.
Required Credentials: - You are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding. - Must pass a sim lab on day one of orientation.
Special Requests: - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. - Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Unit Details: - Patient ratios vary by floated unit: 1:3-4 on CV Tele B3A and A3 Neuro; 1:4 on MedSurg C5 and B2C. - Common patient populations include post cath lab, post vascular procedures, day 2 CABG, general tele, neuro post-surgical, post cranis, spine, CVAs post TPA, surgical/oncology, and general MedSurg patients that require tele. - Common drips include Amio, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, Dobutamine, and Cardizem titrated down only. - Patient population is age 15 and older. - Uses Spectralink phones on MedSurg units.
Shift & Scheduling: - 4 weekend shifts per schedule (Sat/Sun). - Must work 2 of 3 major holidays.
Floating Requirements: - First to float. - Will float between Telemetry and MedSurg units. Depending on skill level, may float to ICU, Cardiac Tele, all Tele units, MedSurg, and holding areas including the Cath Lab, ER, observation floor, and hallway beds. The observation floor is staffed first, then the other units. - Floating includes Chandler Regional Medical Center and Mercy Gilbert campuses. Notification of campus and unit is given 1.5 hours prior to shift start. Floating to different units mid-shift can happen; floating to another campus within a single shift is rare but possible.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
