Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Nevada license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• No previous experience allowed for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Renown Health

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Medications include non-titratable cardiac medication drips (Cardizem, Lasix, Nitro, etc).
Types of Patients on Unit: Patient population includes treatment of CHF, Alcohol Withdrawal, NSTEMI’s sepsis, dysrhythmias, PNA, COPD, Covid, care of the post-procedure patients include pacemakers, ablations, cath lab, and OHS patients once downgraded from ICU
Special Requests: Candidate will be required to pass a telemetry competency exam, to include identifying and measuring rhythm strips. Failure of exam will result in contract termination.
Shift & Scheduling: Call Requirements: None / May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period. This may be full or partial shifts. Schedule varies based upon department needs. Schedule can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts. Travelers must work 2 of the 3 major holidays. Eve + Day = 1 holiday.
Floating Requirements: May float to Intensive Care Units for a telemetry/medically appropriate assignment, medical surgical units, as well as Renown Regional.
