Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 1 or more years’ experience as a Telemetry RN in a hospital setting.

Preferred Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

Unit Details: The unit is a general med-surg/telemetry unit and serves as a catch-all.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend required. No call. Holiday work is required based on unit needs; travelers must work two major holidays, choosing from Thanksgiving Eve or Day, Christmas Eve or Day, or New Year’s Eve or Day. Orientation attendance is required throughout the starting week: KU NEO on Monday and Tuesday, KU DON training on Wednesday and Thursday, and virtual Epic training on Friday.

Floating Requirements: Will likely occasionally float outside of the hired unit based on divisional needs, including to an acute care unit or overflow/surge unit housing med-surg patients.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
