Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2100 per week.

Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a South Dakota license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: SimpliFi Program - Monument Health and no current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Monument Health.

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 1 year experience; can be a mix of ED and Med/Surg. Medical/Surgical inpatient care experience required. Experience with a team nursing approach (nurse + RT + imaging) required.

You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit & facility. Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler. Time off must be approved prior to the start of the contract.
Unit Details: Medical/Surgical, intermediate-level, and outpatient infusion patients. Diagnoses include stroke, MI, and trauma. Charge nurse covers medical/surgical, ED, and outpatient 24/7. Phlebotomy caregivers are on campus during business hours, then on call. IV/VAT resource is the charge nurse. RT is in house Monday-Friday 7-3pm, no call. No hospitalist. Uses Space Lab.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation; entire team works rotating shifts with no set weekends. Self-scheduling. No call. Holidays will be assigned as needed.
Floating Requirements: Floating within scope of practice and below.
14 days maximum time off
2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
