Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

An interview may not be available prior to offer. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you are applying to.

Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Candidates may not have been full-time, part-time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit-associated facility, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year.

Unit Details: ER observation/boarding unit for patients waiting for an inpatient room. Patient population includes Med/Surg telemetry patients. RNs monitor their own telemetry. Uses oxygen and SVN. May be asked to do some charge training.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No holiday requirement. Standby required.

Floating Requirements: First to float. Primary assignment is St. Joseph Medical Center; if needed, travelers will be required to float throughout Region Two: St. Clare Hospital – Lakewood, WA; St. Elizabeth Hospital – Enumclaw, WA; St. Joseph Medical Center – Tacoma, WA. Float to similar floors.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
