Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Med/Surg telemetry experience is required.

Special Requests: An interview may not be available prior to offer. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year.

Unit Details: Patients are boarding while waiting for a hospital room. ER RNs manage their own ER holds, which are generally separated from the main ED. Common patient types include medical-surgical telemetry patients. RNs monitor their own telemetry. Lab draws are performed on the unit. Equipment includes oxygen and SVN equipment. House transporters handle X-ray and CT transport.

Shift & Scheduling: The schedule includes every other weekend. There is no holiday requirement. Standby call is required.

Floating Requirements: The clinician will be first to float; the primary assignment is at St. Joseph Medical Center, but if needed, travelers will be required to float to similar floors throughout Region Two: St. Clare Hospital – Lakewood, WA; St. Elizabeth Hospital – Enumclaw, WA; and St. Joseph Medical Center – Tacoma, WA.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
