Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2160 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 12 months of travel experience is required.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >80 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: AMN Program - ECU Health (Vidant Health) and no current placement allowed at Program: AMN Program - ECU Health (Vidant Health).

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Strong oncology and phlebotomy skills. Must be able to read and interpret strips. Float experience does not count toward the unit experience requirement.

Unit Details: Primarily adult patients with hematologic or oncologic concerns, immunocompromised conditions, radiation complications, cardiac arrhythmia, complex fluid and medication management, and single- and/or multi-system complications. Nursing staff analyze cardiac rhythms on their patients; the unit is not monitored by monitor techs. Receives overflow surgery and medical patients at times. Skills utilized include administering chemotherapy, continuous infusion medication management, pain management, wound vac dressing changes, wound drains, central lines, tracheotomy patients, chest tubes, IV starts, peripheral lab draws, arterial blood draws, various intravenous drips including cardiac, insulin, and heparin, and cardiac monitoring. Includes patient education related to chemotherapy, radiation, associated procedures, disease processes, management, diagnostic procedures, and trach care.

Shift & Scheduling: 3 out of 4 holidays and 6 weekend shifts within a 6 week schedule. Self-scheduling.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 10/31/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/24/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
