Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• ASN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 1+ years of telemetry or higher experience is required. EKG competency and rhythm interpretation is required.

Required Credentials: ASN - Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.

Preferred Credentials: Bachelor’s degree of Nursing is preferred.

Unit Details: Patient assignments average 3-5 patients, depending on acuity and shift.

Shift & Scheduling: Night weekend shifts are Friday and Saturday nights. Usually about 5-6 weekend shifts are scheduled in an 8-week period, with a maximum of 8; fewer may be scheduled depending on staffing. No scheduled call shifts; you may be placed on call if the hospital does not need you that night at the beginning of the shift.

Floating Requirements: May be required to float to other departments within the scope of competency and qualifications based on business need. Floating is based on date.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Proof of identification required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
