Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2290 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: - EKG interpretation and medication titration are required.
Unit Details: - The unit serves adult patients with diagnoses and cases including MI, CHF, A-fib, COPD, pacemaker/AICD placement, lung surgery with chest tubes, esophagectomy (not fresh from PACU), and general medicine overflow. - Common titratable drips include Cardizem and heparin. - Respiratory support includes CPAP/BiPAP for patients on home regimens and heated high flow in special circumstances with COVID patients. - Nurses read and interpret telemetry strips using Philips monitors. - Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:4-5 on days and 1:5-6 on nights.
Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend is required. Day shifts cover Saturday/Sunday; night shifts cover Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday. - Holiday rotation is required. Day-shift holidays are Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day. Night-shift holidays are Memorial Day Eve, July 3rd, Labor Day Eve, Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, and New Years Eve. - No call at this time.
Floating Requirements: - Floats to other general medical units.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
