Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2300 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 10 months of Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Skills/Experience: Experience with ventilated patients and tracheostomy management is required.

Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Patient population includes neuro (CVA, TIA, seizure); cardiac (chest pain/elevated troponin/rule out ACS, non-STEMI, Afib uncontrolled, CHF); respiratory (PNA, COVID, COPD, TB); GI/GU/endocrine (SBO, GIB, appe, chole, pancreatitis, ARF, diabetes uncontrolled, UTI/urosepsis); skin (cellulitis, wounds); and surgical cases (hip/knee, hysterectomy, appe, chole, colectomy, etc.).

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call.

Floating Requirements: Floating to like units, including Med-Surg, is required. May be required to float to Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center Torrance.
